Flanagan was the main reporter of The Keith Olbermann Evening News. Flanagan worked as a sports reporter at ESPN from 2000 to the year 2006. She spent five years reporting from college football's sidelines for ESPN. She was an on-line reporter for the College World Series the Women's Tennis Association's tour championships men's college basketball as well as in the NCAA Women's basketball tournament. Flanagan worked as a reporter at SportsCenter and reported frequently on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers.
