Amy Lou Adams is the full name for Amy Lou Adams. Amy Lou Adams was born in Aviano, Italy on August 20, 1974. Amy Lou Adams is an American actor who has been praised for her portrayals of charming and innocent characters. Adams was raised in Italy while her father served as a soldier in the U.S. military and she lived living in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven children. The actress began acting and dancing professionally around the middle of the 1990s, with Boulder Dinner Theatre, and later the Country Dinner Playhouse. After moving to Minnesota, she starred in a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. After making her screen debut as a charming but snarky contestant, she relocated towards Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She also raised Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh, who was introduced to her by actor Norma Shearer Leigh signed a contract with MGM to launch her film career star in the late 40s. Leigh appeared in a variety of popular films over the following decade including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis film from 1954).
